Yu Takahashi

I like band. Because arrangement and the personality that there is not appear in people of the support. Therefore I introduced a band so far. But there is a one of the favorite singer other than band. It is positive if I express the person with a word.

 

It is Yu Takahashi today that I introduce. I like “Zettyouwaima”（絶頂は今） in his song. I think that it is the best music in his song. This music begin only voice and a guitar arpeggio. Therefore a voice was emphasized and was gravitate to music for an instant. And the lyrics, oneself do not have positive thinking that it is all right as now and thinks to enjoy now if you hear this song. My friend tell me and I knew Yu Takahashi when I was negative. Then I listen to his music when I was depressed.

 

He was bullied for the childhood period. I think that he has a painful experience, therefore he can wrote a good lyrics. He has a very big voice, because he is from Tohoku. There were few people in Tohoku, he went to the forest and was sing a song in a big voice in forest. He said that the experience contributed to his volume.

Fujifabric

Some people don't sing well, but they still make attractive music. It was especially good at ballad song. My friend was so. I felt all the songs which he sang were attractive. It is such a band that I will introduce.

Today I will introduce “Fujifabric”. They formed in 2000. “Fujifabric” was loved by many artists. Many artists recognized their talent. The name of the vocalist of this band is Masahiko Shimura. Sometimes his singing resembles Tamio Okuda. He began to make music because he was attracted by Tamio Okuda and formed a band. It is a ballad to be good at him.

Next, I will introduce the representative music of “Fujifabric”. The title is “Wakamono no subete”（若者のすべて）. This music was used in a drama called the “Summer Nude. Music and words are by Masahiko Shimura. This music expresses emptiness and painfulness after the summer ends and the last fireworks display is over. It's sentimental. This music has a lot of lyrics that make us think about some kind of end. However, last of the music   that there is a phrase which others some hope. I think that this song has a happy ending. I think Shimura's singing skill is about like mine. But he has something that attracts people. He had so much talent, but he died on December 24, 2009.

New Fujifabric

After Masahiko Shimura died, they changed the members and continued the band as “Fujifabric”. Refreshing music increased after Masahiko Shimura died. Both versions of “Fujifabric” are good, but I like “Fujifabric” with Masahiko Shimura. Please listen to it if you can.

 

Unicorn

Old people have the composure of adults. They give us peace of mind. For example, their voice, appearance and behavior are calm. When we are young, most people are restless. But I think that old people how had trouble many time and have made efforts. Therefore they give peace of mind to everybody.

I'll introduce a band that has the composure of an adult. The band is "Unicorn". "Unicorn" is a unique band. Everyone is a vocalist in the band, but the main vocalist is decided. The main vocalist is in the middle of the picture above. He is wearing the blue t-shirt. His name is Tamio Okuda. He is the most popular menver of this band. I think that the reason is his calm voice and his character. His personality comes out in his voice. Next is the lead guitarist who is wearing the red t-shirt. His name is Isamu Teshima. His nickname  Tesshi. His voice is manly and his guitar is cool. He likes tapping. The bass player is in the yellow t-shirt. His name is Kazushi Horiuchi. He has a very soft voice. He sings ballads a lot. Drummer is in the green t-shirt. His name is Koichi Kawanishi. His songs have characteristic difference. The man in the white t-shirt is the key board player. His voice is like Tamio Okuda. I sometimes mistake for Tamio Okuda.
Tamio Okuda have an impact on various artist, such as Gen Hosino and "Fujifabric". "Fujifabric" became the band that reason is Tamio Okuda. Tamio Okuda is such a great artist.

"Unicorn" broke up in 1993, but they re-formed in 2009. The songs before they broke up are better than the songs after they re-formed, because "Unicorn" songs have become a little sloppy. But their performance power has improved very much. Please listen to "Unicorn" music.

Band of Hedgehog

I like rock music., but recently rock vocalists who have an effeminate voice are getting popular in Japan. Is that a rock band? I don't think so.  Rock bands are strong and manly. I'll introduce a man who makes manly band.

 

I'll introduce my favorite musician, Takeshi Hosomi. This blog title means "I am like a hedgehog" he said. He formed three bands. They are ”ELLEGARDEN”, ” the HIATUS” and ”MONOEYES”. ”ELLEGARDEN” is during a hiatus from 2008. Then he formed ”the HIATUS” from 2008. He has active in ” the HIATUS” for seven years, After that he formed ”MONOEYES” while continuing ”the HIATUS”. Now he is in two bands.

[ELLEGARDEN]

”ELLEGARDEN” is like american rock music, such as ”Green Day”, ”Yellowcard” or ”Blink 182”. I think this is the good point of ”ELLEGARDEN”. I like it. But it may be said that they are not a originality. If you like American bands, you will absolutely like it. The lead guitarist of this band is very popular among ELLEGARDEN fans.

[the HIATUS]

The sound of "the HIATUS" has a different atmosphere from "ELLEGARDEN", because they added a keyboards so they are five people. The sound became heavy. You will like "the HIATUS", if you continue to hear this band. Maybe when you hear it at first, you will not like "the HIATUS". It is such as the dried cuttlefish. Now "the HIATUS" is my favorite band.

[MONOEYES]

I say simply, "MONOEYES" is like a "Simple Plan". In addition, returned to American rock sound. I like this bands bass. Because bass move very well. I want to see to everyone.  "MONOEYES" formed 1 years ago. This band skill is unripe. I want to expect in the future.



The Yellow Monkey

Do you know The Yellow Monkey?
If you live in Japan, you should know this band. The reason is simple, because The Yellow Monkey is great.

Vocal and rhythm guitar, Kazuya Yoshii. Kazuya Yoshii was active alone while The Yellow Monkey is during hiatus from 2001. Lead guitar, Hideaki Kikuchi. His guiter sound matches a voice of Kazuya Yoshii. He plays easy guiter phrase, but linger in one's ears. Bass, Youichi Hirose. His bass is very stable. Drum, Eiji Kikuchi. He is young brother of Hideaki Kikuchi. But His face is not similar a brother. I think an older brother is cooler than he.

<Impressions of The Yellow Monkey>

First, people say Kazuya Yoshii is voice is very sexy. I sympathize with them. Urged by this voice, women will be fall. Second, their costumes are unique.Is the early years, they wore showy costumes and attracted attention very much. But they wear calm clothes now.

They released  a new single recentry. The title of the song is a "Sunano to". "Sunano to" is the image of a high-rise building.  Pease listen "Sunano to".

Jet

I'll introduce Jet. Jet is Australian rock band. Vocalist and rhithm guitarist is Nick John Cester. His voice is powerful and like John Lenon. Because He was brought up to listening to The Beatles. Drams is Cristophar Cester. He is younger brother of Nick. Lead guitarist is Cameron Muncey. Basist is Mark Wilson.

They said to be a legendary band in other countries, but there may not be almost the jet knowing in Japan. Jet is where there is hit or miss very much among me. I don't like the jet music of the low tempo so much. Because the good point of jet is shout of the high-pitched tone.
are you gonna be my girl of the representative music of jet became CM of the au. I should have had heard all. I fix the good point of are you gonna be my girl at the rhythm that it is easy to get on and think that it is lines. I say I said are you gonna be my girl.
When you want to achieve a feeling, please hear it. it is good band.

Weezer

 I'll introduce one of my favorite rock band Weezer. Weezer is american rock band. They sang lost love a lot. Because it is famous as "cring rock".
They make a hit in pinkerton in Japan.
The weezer's vocal wife is a Japanese. Therefore great Japanophile. A Japanese woman comes a lot out in music. PV of Hash Pipe is sumo. It was interesting PV, Because I swelled.
My recommended album is Green album. Green album is sadder than others. When you want to be depressed without a mood rising, it is good.
